The Big Biscuit

If you love biscuits and gravy, this one is mighty fine! Capped off a weekend visit to KC with a stop at The Big Biscuit. This place overall had been talked up highly by a few friends and this particular location did not disappoint. Service was friendly and prompt, we chose to sit at the counter as seats were open. Our server greeted us almost immediately and we were off to breakfast wonderland. I love biscuits and gravy. The pursuit of the perfect B&G is a bit of a lifelong chase and this is one of the finest! Perfect biscuits, made in house, served with a nice topping of sausage gravy. I could use a bit more gravy, but that is no complaint. Delicious and crispy hash browns with cheese complimented the B&G well. The place was busy and one customer was grouchy with the staff about something, but overall we were 100% satisfied and would definitely stop again next time we are in the area! I even took home some merch which is a rarity in my stops!

When you come to Kansas you gotta stop here or any of their other locations. The service & food is on point. My mom came in from out of town & she loved it. I would highly recommend any visitors to check them out plus the price is right. This is what I had & was full after a few bites.

The outdoor tables could use some work. Food came out fast but was meh. Server was okay. Convenient location. Turkey/chicken sausage would be a great addition, which the server said they didn't have.

Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy as they were phenomenal! The cinnamon roll pancake was a little underwhelming for flavor and the hash browns were good on flavor, just a little too greasy for my liking.

My favorite breakfast place, locally owned and growing company, always great food, expanding to new locations, best pancakes in the city, quick and friendly service, Biscuits YUM!
